The duo, Jaya, a graduate from National Institute of Design and Balbir, a graduate from National Institute of Fashion Technology with their team has been designing since 1998 as Studio B. Having known the market for long and the desire to explore self expression gave birth to the idea Anhad. Anhad means ‘limitless’. It is an eternal resonance that transcends space and time, a sound that has no beginning or end…
We at Anhad would like to share stories from our experiences as a traveler, reader, dreamer by translating them into products. Each product has a unique story to tell, a spirit which never dies. You will cherish our product not just for its intellectual luxury but also for the creative hands that have touched and nurtured it into a fine product. The Anhad range is intended to bring joy within you and to your spaces. If you are looking for everlasting magic, Anhad is the right start. The experiences shall continue, and so shall the stories.
Anhad rekindles the idea, “ Kissa Kahani Bazaar”… Come and Pick your story.
We value and believe in the use of hands while creating Anhad product. The inevitable and beautiful imperfections that come with the touch of a human hand, as opposed to a machine, bring life to all handmade products. These glorious imperfections are also indicative of authenticity. Someone just made it for you. Thus, we use techniques involving hand block printing, hand screen printing, embroidery, etc. The fabric for most of our products is hand spun and hand woven.
For the admiration of hand spun and hand woven, we present to you our Anhad Khadi collection. Anhad Khadi is fusion of styles to please the tastes of our customers. Cool in summer, warm in winters this versatile material is perfect wear for any occasion. Anhad hand-picks its khadi from around India and tailors it into home textile, clothing and accessories. This beautiful hand spun and hand woven fabric symbolises months of rigorous efforts. When you are buying Anhad Khadi, you aren’t just buying a thing, you’re buying a piece of heart, part of soul, a moment of someone’s life. Most importantly, you’re buying the craftsmen more time to do something they are passionate about.
